JCARES conducts a weekly communications net on Mondays at 1800 hours (with exception to the 2nd Monday) on 145.410 mhz repeater with a tone of 127.3 mhz. This repeater is linked to the following repeaters: 145.370 mhz Tone 100, 147.195 mhz Tone 100, & 147.345 mhz Tone 118.8. We operate FM voice and MT63 2KL digital modes on this net. All licensed radio amateurs are invited to participate in our nets.

It is hoped that all NCSs will prepare and send a digital message as a part of their NCS duties.
It is advised that each NCS should prearrange the ANC and use the NCS for the following week to fill that function.
All members not named as net control at this time are encouraged to team with one of the net controls named above. If you would like to be added as a regularly scheduled NCS, please speak to Chris Knight. It seems best that no more than one additional person be with the NCS during the net (due to noise and distractions). Mentees may be asked to join some NCS (Mentor) stations.
